NCERT Class 2
NCERT Class 2 practice, chapter by chapter
By Class 2 most children can read a short line on their own and are ready for bigger numbers. The books are from the same family as Class 1 (Mridang, Sarangi and Joyful Mathematics), but the chapters ask for a little more thinking. Expect shapes, grouping and sharing, a trip to the fair and some simple data, which children practise with objects on the screen rather than long rows of sums.

Where does the study time go?
For a six or seven year old, school often means leaving home before 7:30 and getting back after 2, and by evening they are tired and cranky. The little time that is left should go to play, food and sleep. So practice has to be short and genuinely enjoyable, or it simply will not happen.
Tuition is fine, and plenty of children need it. But a tutor with eight or ten children in one batch cannot sit with each of them, and cannot always keep track of what the school did that week. Sometimes the tuition follows its own order of chapters, the child ends up juggling two plans for the same subject, and the confusion shows up in the next test.
NoTuition.in gives that small window some shape: the chapter your child is doing in school, a short activity, practice that explains every mistake, and a clear view for you of what needs work.
