Why we built NoTuition.in

Children today spend most of their day in school and in traffic. By the time homework is done there is very little time left to study on their own, and even less energy. Weekends go in errands, functions and catching up on sleep.

Tuition is fine, and plenty of children need it. But a tutor with eight or ten children in one batch cannot sit with each of them, and cannot always keep track of what the school did that week. Sometimes the tuition follows its own order of chapters, the child ends up juggling two plans for the same subject, and the confusion shows up in the next test.

We wanted something that fits into fifteen or twenty minutes, follows the school's own books chapter by chapter, and uses adaptive practice to focus on what each child has understood and what still needs work.
