1. Who may create an account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract. If you create a child profile, you confirm that you are the child's parent or lawful guardian, or that you have lawful authority to provide the requested consent. Children must use the service only through a parent-managed family account.
2. Acceptance and document versions
At signup you must actively select the Terms acceptance checkbox and the separate Privacy consent checkbox. Your acceptance covers these Terms, the AI Content Notice and the Cancellation and Refund Policy with version 2026-10-05-cookieless-analytics. Your privacy consent covers the Privacy Policy with the same version. We keep a consent record. Material updates require a new notice and, where required, renewed acceptance.
3. The service
NoTuition.in provides chapter-based learning activities, practice, worksheets, plans, progress information and parent tools. Features, class coverage and free or paid limits may change. We will not reduce already purchased access during its stated period except where needed for safety, law, misuse, a payment reversal or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. Educational and AI content
Some explanations, questions, hints, summaries, plans, images, classifications or feedback may be created or adapted using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be incorrect, incomplete, biased, outdated or unsuitable for a particular child. Use discretion and check important answers against the official textbook, school material or a qualified teacher. The service does not replace school, a teacher, professional educational assessment or supervision by a responsible adult. We do not guarantee marks, grades, admissions, rankings, scholarships or any learning outcome. The AI Content Notice is part of these Terms.
5. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep parent passwords and child PINs confidential, and promptly report unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our breach. Do not share a paid account outside your household or attempt to bypass child, seat, plan or entitlement limits.
6. Parent responsibility and child safety
The parent controls child profiles, uploads and use of the service. Do not enter information that is unnecessary for learning. Do not upload identity documents, financial information, health records, intimate material or another child's information. Review AI-assisted answers when the topic is important, sensitive or likely to affect schoolwork.
7. User uploads and feedback
You retain ownership of material you lawfully upload. You give us a limited licence to store, copy, process and display it only to operate, secure and improve the service for your family. You confirm that you have the right to upload it and that it does not violate law, privacy, confidentiality or intellectual property rights. Feedback and suggestions may be used without payment, but we will not publish your personal information without permission.
8. Intellectual property and third-party material
The software, design, original questions, explanations and branding belong to the operator or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for household educational purposes. You may not copy, scrape, sell, republish, train another model on, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
NCERT, CBSE, textbook names and other marks belong to their respective owners. NoTuition.in is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official product of NCERT, CBSE, any school or government body. References are used only to identify curriculum alignment. Third-party material remains subject to its owner's terms and rights.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with security, upload malware, probe other accounts, automate excessive requests, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material, harass users or staff, use the service to cheat in a live examination, or use generated material deceptively. We may investigate misuse, preserve evidence and cooperate with lawful authorities.
10. Future paid plans, prices and payment
Prices, included children, features, taxes and access periods are displayed before checkout. Payment is processed by Razorpay or another disclosed payment provider. We do not receive or store complete card, bank or UPI credentials. Unless checkout clearly states that you are authorising recurring billing, a monthly or yearly purchase is a one-time prepaid purchase and will not automatically renew. A future autopay feature will require a separate mandate and clear recurring-charge consent.
11. Cancellation, refunds and payment disputes
The Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms removes a refund, remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us before filing a chargeback so we can investigate access failures, duplicate charges or unauthorised transactions.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or suspend an account for security risk, unlawful conduct, material breach, payment reversal, child-safety concerns or misuse. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where needed to protect children, users, the service or evidence. Account deletion and data requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, networks, devices, schools, third-party services and events outside our control can cause interruption or data delay. We may change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of a material change that adversely affects a paid plan where practical.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an available basis without a promise that every item is error-free or suitable for every child. We do not exclude responsibilities or warranties that Indian consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost opportunity, lost marks, or decisions made solely from AI-generated content. For claims that may lawfully be limited, our total aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, breach of obligations that cannot be limited, or any remedy guaranteed by applicable consumer or data-protection law.
16. Your responsibility for misuse
You are responsible for loss arising from your unlawful use, deliberate security interference, or material you upload without required rights or consent. We will not seek recovery from a consumer for ordinary good-faith use, a child's reasonable mistake or matters caused by our own breach.
17. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or statutory remedy, disputes are subject to the courts and statutory forums having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law. Please first use the support and grievance process below. You may also use the National Consumer Helpline or another remedy available under law.

We may update these Terms for legal, safety, payment or product changes. The effective date and version will be updated. If a change materially affects your rights or requires fresh consent, we will provide notice and request acceptance before continued use where required.
