NCERT Class 8
NCERT Class 8 practice, chapter by chapter
Class 8 is the last year before the Class 9 and 10 board track, so it is a good time to close old gaps. The books are Poorvi, Malhar, Ganita Prakash Parts I and II, Curiosity, Exploring Society Parts I and II and Deepakam. Algebra, proportional reasoning and the Baudhayana-Pythagoras theorem all appear this year, and all three come back in Classes 9 and 10.

Where does the study time go?
Middle school days are long. Six subjects, projects, the commute and often tuition in the evening. Children spend plenty of hours on studies but get very little quiet time to study on their own, and a gap in one chapter quietly carries over into the next.
Tuition is fine, and plenty of children need it. But a tutor with eight or ten children in one batch cannot sit with each of them, and cannot always keep track of what the school did that week. Sometimes the tuition follows its own order of chapters, the child ends up juggling two plans for the same subject, and the confusion shows up in the next test.
NoTuition.in gives that small window some shape: the chapter your child is doing in school, a short activity, practice that explains every mistake, and a clear view for you of what needs work.
